Winter Blues

We are pretty tired of these freezing cold temperatures. Ever since Christmas, Cort has come up to me daily to say, "Mom, I love summer time! In the summer you can play outside, you can ride bikes, you can go camping, you can go swimming....mom when is it going to be summer?"
Well this weekend we took a break from the cold and headed to St. George. It was by no means hot, but it was pleasant and we were able to spend Saturday outside. First we played in Katie and Luke's backyard. Cash was in love with their swing set....particularly their saucer swing. Cort enjoyed their bikes, and both boys liked to watch the chickens.

Next we went to the park, all three of my boys had fun playing with Katie's girls, and we had to bribe Cash with swimming to finally get him off of the swing!

We had a hotel with an indoor pool. Cort brought his life jacket and had so much fun. At first Cash hated it, but when it came time to go he wouldn't get out.

We went to Red Robin with Connie, Dell and Katie's family....I think Cash dropped more food than he ate!
Sunday we played at Katie's again, then just before nap time we took the boys to climb the red rocks before coming back to our frozen home.
We had a blast and all of us were depressed to come home. We can't wait for spring!
