One Merry Christmas

Christmas couldn't come fast enough for one little boy this year.  Cort excitedly counted the days till Christmas with our Fisher Price Nativity advent calendar, and a chocolate calendar as well.  It always makes me laugh how Cort who only likes white chocolate finds the waxy advent calendar chocolates absolutely delicious.  Cash my chocolate lover, also found the chocolates irresistible and for the first week cried because he wanted more than one.

The week before Christmas we made gingerbread houses for F.H.E. Bret got really into it, and Cort helped him out by eating the frosting!

Mom helped Cash
Cash had more fun smashing his house, and eating candy off of the bottom of his foot.

Bret had to work the morning of Christmas Eve, so the boys and I made reindeer food and cookies for Santa.

Cash took a bite out of each cookie before putting them on the plate for Santa

That evening we headed to my parents for our Christmas Eve dinner and program.  Dan and Megan's family were there as well as Grandpa Perkins.  After dinner we sang some songs, and the kids all got to open presents from each other, as well as presents from my parents.

Cort got this awesome Spiderman toy

Cash got this Seasame Street playset

Christmas morning we were up bright and early.  The boys were spoiled rotten.  After presents we headed to Nephi for breakfast. That afternoon we visited my parents to show off my present.... a new camp trailer.  All in all it was a wonderful Christmas.
