Cash's First Vacation

We took a little trip down to St. George this past weekend.  We left Thursday night and came home Sunday afternoon.  I was worried about how Cash would do in the car so long, and sleeping at the hotel, but he did great.  He slept really well at the hotel, and most of the time we were in the car he was sleeping as well.

Friday morning we went shopping- which I of course enjoyed more than the boys.  That afternoon we went and visited Bret's sister Katie and her family.
Saturday we went to a parade in Washington.  We got there a little late, and the parade was over about five minutes after we got there.... that's my kind of parade.  We also ended up sitting next to a family that doesn't eat candy, so Cort got to sit back and enjoy the parade and still ended up with TONS of candy.
After the parade we went to the Splash Pad.  Cort had been looking forward to that all week, and had a blast with his cousins.

Sunday we took Cash and Cort hiking on the rocks.  It wouldn't be a trip to St. George without climbing on the "Red Mountains" as Cort refers to them.

Cort picking mom flowers.

Cash chilling in his stoller....now that's how to hike, lay back, relax and let someone else do all the work.
This is the first family picture we've taken since Cash was born.   We will get some real pictures taken one of these days.

All in all we had a great vacation.  It wasn't too long, but it was a blast.
