Halloween this year was so much fun! Cort loved wearing his hamburger costume. Friday night we got to go to a party with Bret's family... this was Corts first chance to really show off his costume and he was so excited.
Saturday morning we went to my parents house so he could practice "trick-or-treating", and so they could see his costume.
That night we went to our ward's trunk or treat... however we only managed to go to about 4 cars before we noticed the HUGE black clouds rolling in. Bret insisted we get back to the car ASAP even though I tried to get him to stop at cars along the way so Cort could enjoy his first time trick-or-treating. Luckily Bret won the argument, and we made it to our car just as the hail storm started.
We went back home where Bret put the finishing touches on his decorations and we made some homemade rootbeer. Once the storm disappeared Cort and I went around our neighborhood. Cort loved knocking on the doors and would proudly hold out his bucket and say, "TREAT"... he knew what he wanted. Since it had been a long day and it was still cold we went home after a few houses and Cort helped give out the candy. He had just as much fun handing out candy as he'd had trick-or-treating.

At least the storm made it so you didn't have to give out candy at your trunk or treat and probably added to the effects of Bret's decorations.
