Cash has been part of our family for just over three weeks now. You would think after three weeks, Cort would realize that he is not going anywhere, but just the other day he came up and asked, "Mom, can we keep Cash?"
I laughed and said, "Really? You want to keep him?"
Cort then said, "I LIKE him! He's Cort's best friend!"
Then today he came up and started stroking Cash's hair, and said, "He's SO Cute!"
How precious is that? At least I thought it was cute. I hope that Cort always thinks of Cash as his best friend.... and that Cash feels the same way about Cort.
